175 years of promoting Lies the Alamo myth of heroic sacrifice is one big LIE . The Mission Valero de Bexar was built by enslaved Indigenous people of Coahuila/Tejas. The Invading Anglos fought to maintain Slavery of African People. Indigenous People were treated worse than Black Slaves. The Catholic Church relinquished the Mission Valero de Bexar to the Indigenous People living there but the Immigrant Anglos drove them off and claimed the Mission for themselves.
